Hawg Seekers Hawg Teaser Jerk Bait

The Hawg Teaser is a combination of select wood and a long plastic tail for great diving and back-up action.  The Hawg Teaser can be started out on the surface, where light taps flip the tail creating a tantalizing surface disturbance. Retrieved slowly, the Hawg Teaser swims in with just enough body wobble and tail action to imitate a lazy target. A sharp jerk or quick reel crank takes the Hawg Teaser sub-surface and from there, quick reel cranks, short jerks, or long pulls will start the Hawg Teaser tracking side to side. Pauses between pulls lets the Hawg Teaser back up and go into a slow dead rise. When you feel the Hawg Teaser encounter an obstruction, ease off and the Hawg Teaser will back out, allowing you to walk the lure over the top of weeds, logs, and snags.
The total "ease of use" gives anglers a simple presentation at different retrieve speeds. This is not a deep running presentation without modifying the lure. It targets fish in the upper water column and those near cover. More dive-rise than glide bait, Hawg Teaser has some side to side action, but is more dive, then a slow rise.
It comes in 2 models, a 10" and 12". Weight is around 2.5, and 3.5 ounces respectively. Heavy enough to cast in windy conditions, but light enough in both models to run with your lighter musky setups. 9 colors and a replaceable tail option from action plastics are available at the Musky Shop.
Literally use it all season long. Not enough anglers start the cold spring season with a stop and go presentation like this in my experience. Try it whenever muskies are not revved up and chasing fast moving lures...which is the majority of the time!
