This Lure has Produced My BIGGEST Wisconsin Muskies

There is one muskie lure that has single-handedly caused me to grunt and strain many times as I have struggled to pull the largest muskies I have ever caught in the state of Wisconsin out of the net. True, trophy sized muskies, are a very rare commodity in northern Wisconsin and for one lure to be responsible for all of my record catches…. well that is just a pretty shocking statistic and certainly places that lure in a category all of its own. I am talking about 48, 49 and even muskies hitting the magical 50 inch mark that have consistently fallen to a lure that is interestingly the oldest lure in the Joe Bucher Outdoors lineup: the 700 Buchertail. My largest muskies taken in the state of Wisconsin, where I guide and spend most of my time filming, have all come on the 700 Buchertail and in this video I will discuss in detail the different aspects of the lure that make it so special. Part of what makes this video so cool is that I have focused my analysis on answering your questions (Musky Mastery subscribers!!!) that I posted on my community page in a poll. I first start by explaining the many important reasons for WHEN I throw the 700 Buchertail bucktail over other lures, why I believe it works so well throughout all of the seasons, the technique behind the catches and even modifications that help keep the big ones hooked. Even topics such as night fishing and cold-water blade fishing are discussed to try and provide a well rounded discuss on a lure that has produced so many big fish for my clients and myself.
